The Second Day of Switchmas

On the second day of Switchmas, Nintendo gave to me…

Two Snippers Clipping
and Super Mario Odyssey (2017).

Snipper Clips (2017) was one of the earliest breakout titles for the Switch, providing a lighter cooperative experience to help compliment Zelda: Breath of the Wild‘s (2017) deep solo adventuring. Though many referred to it as a new Nintendo IP, the charming puzzle-game was actually developed by a small British development team – SFB Games – in collaboration with Nintendo. Brothers Adam and Tom Vian, the joint directors of the game, previously created Detective Grimoire (2014, available on Steam and smart-devices), an investigative point-and-click title that made humorous use of sentence construction within its core gameplay.
